Rs 35,000-2.5 lakh excluding GST. A manual half-bag mixer sits at the bottom of that range and a reversible drum mixer with hydraulic hopper at the top.
Rs 45,000-15 lakh excluding GST. Automation level is the driver: manual moulds are cheapest, fully automatic plants with curing lines the most expensive.
A semi-automatic machine. Fully automatic plants only pay back above roughly 10,000 bricks a day, and below that the labour saving does not cover the capital cost.
