India's Crane & Material Handling Manufacturing

India produces a full range of material handling equipment — from 1-tonne manual hoists to 200-tonne EOT cranes — with manufacturing clusters in Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, and the Delhi NCR belt. The domestic crane industry serves everything from small warehouses to steel plants, and Indian manufacturers increasingly compete on export orders to the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Always check for ISO 9001 certification, load-testing documentation, and whether the supplier handles installation, commissioning, and AMC — not just fabrication.

The suppliers below are partners we work with directly. The 21 supplier pages are grouped by product — each includes direct contact numbers and a match reason so you can shortlist without back-and-forth. Send us your requirement and we will take it from there.

Questions buyers ask about industrial cranes & material handling

Prices exclude GST and reflect quotes from verified suppliers on PingB2B.

What does a single girder EOT crane cost?

Rs 5-20 lakh excluding GST. A double girder crane costs Rs 15-60 lakh, an underslung Rs 8-30 lakh and a jib crane Rs 2-10 lakh.

When do I need a double girder crane instead of single?

Above roughly 20 tonnes, or where you need higher hook height and full bay coverage. Single girder is adequate for lighter, intermittent duty and costs about a third as much.

How long does a crane take to deliver?

3-10 weeks. Cranes are built to your bay, so the clock starts when span, height of lift and duty class are frozen, not when the order is placed.

What information does a supplier need to quote?

Safe working load, span between rails, height of lift, duty class and power supply. Supplying all five upfront is the single biggest factor in getting comparable quotes quickly.

What safety compliance applies?

Cranes fall under the Factories Act and need periodic load testing by a competent person. Take the test certificate, design calculation and operating manual as part of handover, not afterwards.
